Modules Batch List
Selecting the Modules tab within Domain Settings opens the Modules Batch List, which displays all modules currently installed for your store. Just like other batch lists in the Miva admin, you can sort it by column, show or hide details, and use the Filter by Feature to quickly find what you’re looking for.
The Miva admin is powered by a wide range of core modules, so some will always appear by default. You can also install third-party modules from apps.miva.com to add new features or integrations and further extend your store’s capabilities.
For more information, visit the Design and User Experience page.
Sorting Modules
To sort the Modules list, click any column header. The list will reorder itself between ascending (A–Z) and descending (Z–A) order based on the column you select.
Filtering Modules
To filter the Modules list, click Filter by Feature and choose the categories you want to apply. For example, select Payment to show only payment-related modules. You can apply multiple filters at once. To return to the full list, simply uncheck the filters you've selected.
Adding/ Removing Modules
Adding Modules
To install a module from a third-party provider, first download the .mvc file from apps.miva.com.
Then follow these steps:
1. Go to the PATH: Settings > Domain Settings > click the Add Module button (top right).
2. On the Add Module screen, click Upload, then select Choose File to locate the .mvc file.
3. Click the Add button to complete the upload.
4. Check Overwrite if you're replacing an older version of the module.
The module will now appear in your Modules list (Settings > Modules).
5. Search for the module you just uploaded and click the Install button inside its module card.
6. Complete any additional setup steps required by that module (such as configuration or API credentials).
Note: Each module has its own configuration settings that must be completed after installation.
Multiple Stores: If you manage multiple stores, you’ll need to install the module separately on each store where it’s needed.
Removing Modules
To uninstall a module, go to PATH: Settings > Modules, find the module you want to uninstall, click the ellipsis menu ( ... ) next to the Installed indicator, and choose Uninstall.
Modules associated with unbatched orders, including checkout-related modules like payment and shipping providers, can be uninstalled. However, if a module has a reference count greater than zero, uninstalling it may permanently delete associated data, such as payment records needed for refunds, disputes, or reporting.
When you try to uninstall the Modules you will get a strongly worded pre-removal warning detailing the consequences of removal.
