Multi-Domain URI Import Module allows a Miva Merchant to manage all URIs and redirects for Multi-Domain storefronts in Data Management, removing the need for custom workarounds, giving merchants more flexibility in shaping how URLs behave across multiple storefronts.
The Multi-Domain URI Import Module is exactly like the URI Management Module, it has the same fields to choose from, only it allows you to add Domain Code and Domain Host.
Examples for using this Module: If you have a Multi-Domain Store with different store on different branches (Option 1), you can use the Multi-Domain Import Module to import new URIs for the products on your new store so that the product pages URLs of your stores look different from each other.
When to Use It
This import tool is useful for:
Setting up a new multi-domain storefront with unique URIs (Different Stores, Different Branch: Option 1).
Overwriting or replacing automatically generated URIs
Bulk-updating URI paths
You can use this tool during setup or after launch — it works for both scenarios.
How to Access the Import Module
Path: Settings > Data Management > Import Settings
1. Click “New Import” on the Import Settings page
2. Add a description for you URI import
3. Choose “Multi-Domain” from the Import Module dropdown.
4. Select settings for Override options, Delimiter, and Fields like in the URI Import Module.
