How do I debug buySAFE seal display problems?

To verify if your seal appears, go to any page of your store, for instance a product description, or shopping basket. There should be a buySAFE seal centered at the bottom of the page as shown here:

If your buySAFE Seal is not displaying it can be due to one of several factors:

1.The buySAFE Module is not installed

2.The buySAFE Module is installed, but not assigned to your store

3.The buySAFE Module is assigned, but the authentication data has not been specified

4.The buySAFE Seal code is included, but does not match the data in the buySAFE Merchant Service Center

5.The buySAFE Seal code is not being added to the page

6.The buySAFE Seal code is included, but the page is from an externally hosted site not known to buySAFE

If none of those correct the problem, then you will need to determine if the seal code is on your page. To determine this, do the following:

1.Open the page with the missing seal on it and edit the page source. (This can be done by using the Menu: View->Source, or right click and select View Source from the popup menu).

2.Search for rollover.js, if it is not found, then add to the Head Tag Content.

3.If the rollover.js is included, then search for WriteBuySafeSeal. If this is not found then add to the Global Footer.

If the seal code is present, and none of the steps corrected the problem, please add open a support ticket.
