Path to sendmail
Posted by - NA -, Last modified by Jen Ferraz on 01 April 2011 11:16 AM

When setting up scripts on the website that send email, the path to sendmail may need to be adjusted in the script's settings to successfully send email.

Please attempt to use the following path in your scripts in the following order until one works:

/var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject -fuser@domain.com

Adjust the above line so that user@domain.com is your actual email address. There is no space between the -f and your address. If that does not work, try this:

/var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject -fuser\@domain.com

If it still does not work, try just:

/var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject

Finally, if none of those work, revert back to using just:

/usr/sbin/sendmail

Any of the first three are preferred though.
