Link Point - Internal Server Error

Title: Link Point - Internal Server Error Symptom: Customer is using Link Point as their Payment Gateway, and during checkout they receive an Internal Server Error. Troubleshoot: First you will need to isolate the problem to verify that Link Point is the source of the problem. To do this you may want to select the Check Module under Payment Configuration, place a test order using the Check Payment. Also, you may want to turn off the Email Notifications under Order Fulfillment to verify that the Mail Server is not related to the error. Solution: We have seen the Internal Server Error with Link Point caused by 2 things >> -1- Commerce Library Installation. Most likely the host installed the wrong commerce library file for their server. -2- Incorrect Digital Certificate. It could be as minor as an extra carriage return or even an extra space or two. It is very important that the customer copy and paste the Digital Certificate into the Miva Merchant Admin EXACTLY as it is sent to them by Card Service International. You may want to suggest to the customer to arrow down each line and press the End key to detect any additional spaces. | |
