Title ------- Bad Request: Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Symptom -------- Error: Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Reason: --------- You're speaking plain HTTP to an SSL-enabled server port. Instead use the HTTPS scheme to access this URL, please. Audience ---------- Host, ISP, or Systems Administrator Solution --------- Some of the steps required to resolve this issue need a level of server access that will not be available to most end users. If you are a MIVA Merchant end user experiencing this problem, you may have to forward this information to your Host, ISP, or Systems Administrator. This only happens when running suexec on a Linux based system. The cause of this is that the host does not have https in the safe_env_lst. The host will need to look in the suexec.c for the section called safe_env_lst. Simply add https to these safe environment variables and recompile the file. | |
