Go to Settings. Click Other. Click Add Mail Account.
The New Account window appears. Click Next.
The next screen will open, with IMAP selected as the default.
If you would like to use POP instead, click POP.
The Name, Email, and Description should be already filled in from the previous screen. Under Incoming Mail Server: Under Outgoing Mail Server: Click Save.
A window will appear that says "Cannot Verify Server Identity". Click Continue.
If you have successfully set up your email, you will see the following screen below: Click Advanced. Turn the Use SSL off. Change the Incoming Server Port to 110. Please remember that Port 110 is for POP only and if you want to use IMAP, it needs to be set to Port 143. For the outgoing server port (SMTP), you should use 587 (which is the default). If you are using POP, we suggest changing the Delete from server option to Seven days to allow your non-mobile devices to download their own copy of new email.
Remember to click Test Account and Done when you are finished editing the advanced settings. Congratulations! You have successfully set up your mail. | |
