Forward cgi-style Merchant requests to redirect-style requests.
Posted by Jen Ferraz on 11 April 2011 02:51 PM
If you switched from another provider or recently upgraded to a new version of Miva Merchant, and your old store used cgi-bin?Merchant2/merchant.mv style URL's instead of just /Merchant2/merchant.mv style URL's, you can add a 301 redirect to keep the old URLs working. Place the following text into a .htaccess file in your cgi-bin directory (replace www.yourdomain.com with the domain name of your store):

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} Merchant2/(.*)\+(.*) [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*) http://www.yourdomain.com/Merchant2/%1?%2 [R,L]
