Component Text Settings
The Text Settings for all of the PageBuilder components are all the same across the board. However, not all components use the same text elements.
Heading Text
This is the main message of your text element. Enter the desired text in the box.
Clicking the icon next to the Heading Text box opens the Text Settings pop out.
In the box that opens, there are several text settings you can configure. Changing any of the styles. changes the style in the live preview window, allowing you to view different options before settling on one. However, if you don't click the Save button, the new style will not change.
Heading Style: This changes the look of the main text element.
Heading Tag: The Heading Tag is purely for labeling purposes and can be used for SEO purposes. For example, if you set the Heading Tag to h1, web crawlers will recognize the phrase you use for the Heading as an h1 tag. This setting has no impact on the look or the layout of the Text Heading.
Font Family: This changes the font family used in the text element.
Font Color: This allows you to change the font color of the main text. Clicking the box below Font Color opens the color picker. There are many options.
You can use Slider Mode to find a desired color. Clicking the drop down opens up three options: RGBa, HSLa and CMYKa.
You can also input a color code. There are five Input Modes: RGBa, HSLa, CMYKa, HEX and HEXa.
Subheading Text
This is the subheading message of your text element. Enter the desired text in the box.
Clicking the icon next to the Subheading Text box opens the Text Settings pop out.
In the box that opens, there are several text settings you can configure.
Subheading Style: This changes the look of your subheading element.
Font Family: This changes the font family used in the subheading element.
Font Size: This changes the size of the subheading text in the text element. It is set in pixels.
Font Weight: The changes the weight of the font in the subheading text.
Font Color: The options available are the same as noted above for the main text.
Body Text
This is the body message of your text element. Enter the desired text in the box.
Clicking the icon next to the Body Text box opens the Text Settings pop out.
In the box that opens, there are several text settings you can configure.
Body Style: This changes the look of the body element.
Font Family: This changes the font family used in the body text element.
Font Size: This changes the size of the body text in the text element. It is set in pixels.
Font Weight: The changes the weight of the font in the body text.
Font Color: The options available are the same as noted above for the main text.
Button Text
This is the text that is displayed in the button element. Enter the desired text in the box.
Clicking the icon next to the Button Text box opens the Text Settings pop out.
In the box that opens, there are text settings you can configure.
Button Style: This changes the look of the button in the text element.
Button Size: This changes the size of the button in the text element.
Button Link: This setting allows you to link the button to one of four options. The options are: URL, Product, Category or Page.
