Using the Wish List Feature

We will guide you on how to make use of the standard Wish List feature present in the recent update.

Procedure to Access the Wish List

With the recent update installed, you can now find the Wish List at the top of your store's interface.

By clicking on the link, you will be directed to a login page where you can either look for a public wish list or sign in to your account to manage your own wish list.

You can utilize the Wish List Search feature to look for a public wish list. For instance, if you want to find a wish list of a friend or family member on the site, you can just search it by name. After finding the list, a link will be visible to view the items on their list.

By clicking on the individual's name, their wish list will be visible and you can purchase the item directly from their list. During the checkout process, you can select whether to ship the item directly to the person’s address or have it shipped to your location if you prefer to hand it over personally.

When you purchase an item from their wish list, the item will be removed to avoid double purchasing of the same item.

The Wish List can also be accessed from your Account.

• Prices of items in the wish list are dynamic and they get updated according to the latest price of that product. For instance, if a product is added to the wish list during a sale for $10.00, and the customer visits after a week when the sale is over, he/she would see the original price, $12.00. The same applies if the price of an item updates while it is in the wish list.
• Inventory is not reduced when an item is added to the wish list. The inventory only changes when an item is added to the cart. If an out-of-stock item from the wish list is added to the cart, standard out-of-stock notifications will be shown according to your settings.
• Items will remain in your wish list until they are either removed manually or until someone purchases an item. If your wish list link is shared and someone adds an item to their cart, the quantity they purchased will be removed once the order is completed. There’s currently no expiry for wish lists.
• A store owner can check a customer’s wish list by logging in to their account using the Shop As Customer feature.
