Markup from Cost Price Group
The Markup from Cost functionality in Miva's Price Group enables you to increase the price of an item, rather than offering a discount.
How to Create a Markup from Cost Price Group
To create a Price Group, navigate to the Marketing header and then click on the Price Groups tab. Once here, you will see an Add Price Group button located in the upper right corner. Click on this button to begin creating a new Price Group.
In the dialogue box that appears, assign your Price Group a Name. Then, you will need to determine the Eligibility for this specific Price Group. For further information on configuring these specifics, you can find a guide here.
The next step is to select Markup from Cost in the type field. This setting determines how your Price Group functions. In the Discount Settings section, you will need to enter the percentage increase of the product’s cost, which determines the new price for your items.
As an example, if you decide that a product in the Price Group should cost $10, and you set the Markup from Cost field to 50%, the customers in this group will be charged $15 for the product.
