Creating a New Page

Creating new pages is the heart of PageBuilder. Whether you are creating a storefront, landing pages or content pages, PageBuilder makes creating new and exciting pages easier for you with a user-friendly interface.

1. To create a new page in PageBuilder, click the Create Page button in the upper right corner of the Content Management page.

2. In the Create Page box that opens, give your page a name. The Miva admin creates a Page Code based on the name you give.

3. Then click the Choose Layout button.

   NOTE: The Page Code for each page must be unique. The system will use the first eight characters, without spaces, of the Page Name to create a code, so you may need to add additional text to create a unique code. Codes do not allow for spaces or special characters. For example, if you have a page named "Test Page" with the code "TESTPAGE," and you create a new page called "Test Page New" the system will autogenerate a code of "TESTPAGE" for the page. If you do not add characters to the code, like TESTPAGENEW for example. you will see an error prompt.

4. Click the layout you want to use, then click Create Page, which opens the Live Preview page of PageBuilder for that page.
