Price Group Exclusions

The management of price group exclusions has been completely re-imagined in Miva 10. This feature has been streamlined to provide users with a more comprehensive and intuitive experience.

Default Settings

A new setting has been introduced in this new version regarding price groups. With this setting, users can determine if a newly created price group should default to include other price groups or exclude them. This feature can be especially useful if users find themselves excluding all other price groups most of the time. In this case, they can set this to be excluded by default.

The default option in Miva is to 'Allow Combination', indicating that new price groups will automatically include other groups.

Exclusion Summary

In Miva 10, each price group now displays an exclusion summary. This offers users the ability to quickly assess the number of groups that are excluded or included, providing a clear overview at a glance.

Bulk Exclusions

Exclusions in price groups are now featured in a batch list. This list allows for seamless sorting, filtering, and the execution of bulk actions. After selecting a price group, a 'Bulk Actions' button will display with four exclusion options. These options can be chosen based on the user's requirements.

This bulk actions feature facilitates the including or excluding of price groups in an efficient manner. Users no longer need to edit each price group one by one, which enhances the overall user experience and improves productivity.
