Add-on Product Price Group

The Add-on Product Price Group feature allows automatic addition of a specified product (the “add-on” product) to the customer’s basket upon the addition of a qualifying product. For instance, this feature enables automatic addition of a Hawaiian hat (the add-on product) to the customer's basket when they add a Hawaiian shirt (the qualifying product). It's important to note that you have complete control over the pricing of the add-on product — you can choose to offer the product for free, at a discounted rate, or at its standard retail price. Customers have the flexibility of removing the automatically added product from their basket at any point during the shopping or checkout process.

Creating an Add-on Product Price Group

To create a Price Group, navigate to the Marketing header and select the Price Groups tab. Click the Add Price Group button situated in the top-right corner.

In the subsequently displayed dialogue box, provide a Name for your Price Group and determine its Eligibility parameters. For further information on setting these parameters, refer here. Upon setting the eligibility, select Add-on Product in the type field.

In the Add-on Product field, input the code name of the product you want to be the add-on or use the Look Up button to find the product in your catalog. Enter the quantity of the add-on product you wish to add to the basket and set your desired price for this product.

Exclusions

Set up your desired Exclusions as necessitated. For more comprehensive information on configuring exclusions, refer here. After you have made all the necessary configurations, click the Add button to finalize and create the Price Group.
