Product Images

Product Images help your customers see your product on your website.

1. To add images, select the product page you wish to add images to, and then click the Images tab.

2. Click Add Image(s) in the top right corner.

3. On the Image List page that opens, click the Add Image button in the top left corner.

   NOTE: The Add Image button has a dropdown menu associated with it also. You can upload an image or multiple images, add an image that is already on a server by entering the file path, or you can add Image Type information.

4. In the box that opens, select the image or images you wish to add, then click Open.

5. On the Image Uploads screen, you will see the images you selected. You can apply an Image Type to each image.

6. When finished, click the Select Images button in the bottom right corner.

Image Types

Image Types are how you classify your images and define which images show up, in which locations, on your website.

The default image type is "Main." 

Using Image Types

Image Types can be used in many ways: 

• You can use Image Types with the Import feature to quickly upload products with multiple images for each product.

• You can use Image Types to display a product picture on various pages, including: BASK (Basket Contents), CTGY (Category Display), PROD (Product Display), PLST (Product List) and SRCH (Search).

• When you import product information, Image Types will appear as columns in the spreadsheet. This is helpful for identification purposes but also for when you import images into the Miva admin.
