Manage Quotes Price Groups

The Manage Quotes module now supports Price Groups, allowing you to offer discounts through this module.

Creating a Price Group

Begin by clicking on the Marketing header and navigate to the Price Groups tab. Here, you can create a new price group by clicking the Add Price Group button. Decide on a name for your group, select the eligible individuals for the discount, such as Coupon Only, Specific Customers, All Logged-in Customers, or All Shoppers. You will then need to specify the type of discount. After these details are entered, click the Add button to finalize your new Price Group.

Setting Up Your Price Group

In this illustration, a price group named "Volume Discount" has been created. This group is only available to Specific Customers, and a Volume Pricing discount type has been selected. For customers who are buying the same product, the discount is applied based on the total quantity of items. If customers order five of the same item, they will receive a 20% discount.

Next, ensure you establish your preferred Basket/Qualifying Restrictions settings.

Price Group Settings

Followed by your favored Price Group Settings features.

Exclusions

Lastly, modify your wanted Exclusions configurations.
Once all these factors have been set-up, click the Add button to complete the process.

Applying Price Group to a Product

Price groups can be applied to desired products by assigning the product to the newly created price group. Two options are available to achieve this. The first option involves clicking the Catalog header and selecting the product to which the price group should apply. Then, navigate to the Price Group tab on the product page and click 'Assigned' for the intended Price Group.
Alternatively, from the Price Groups page, select the box next to the Price Group to apply, then click the 'more' button. Once there, select 'Assigned' for the product the group should apply to.

Applying Price Group to a Specific Customer

Similarly, in order to apply the price group to a specific customer, you must assign the customer to the price group you have created. This can be done either through the customer’s page by clicking the Price Groups tab and activating the 'Assigned' slider for the intended Price Group.
Alternatively, from the Price Groups page, select the box next to the desired Price Group and click the 'more' button. Then, activate the 'Assigned' slider for the customer you wish to apply the price group to.

Discount Displayed on the Quote Page

Now, when viewing a quote in the Manage Quotes page, the applied discount will be visible. Furthermore, if you wish to add a new discount or alter the original one, the Manage Quotes functionality now has a 'Recalculate Discounts' button that updates the discount directly from the quote screen.

When a customer views the quote, the discount will be integrated into the composed quote.
