Excluding Quotes from Price Groups

In the past, to exclude or override quoted items from Price Groups, you would need to create a Price Group manually. Now, when setting up Manage Quotes, the Miva admin automatically generates the Price Group on your behalf.

To set up the price group, navigate to the Marketing heading and select the Price Groups tab.

The purpose of this feature is to secure customer quotes. Thus once a quota is locked, customers are unable to manipulate the cart to gain extra discounts on their quote.

For instance, if you've provided a customer with a discounted price via a quote in the admin, and you don't intend for them to receive a 10% sitewide discount promotion currently ongoing. This Exclude Quotes from Price Groups functionality hinders that.
