Creating Image Types
There are several places where you can create Image Types. It does not matter which method you choose to reach the Image Types page.
- User Interface>Global Settings>Image Types
- The Image Picker Dialog Box
- Catalog>Edit Product>Images
1. Click the Add Image(s) button in the top right corner.
2. In the Code box, enter a short code you want to identify the Image Type
3. In the Description box, enter a description of the Image Type.
Note
If you keep your classifications fairly generic you’ll be able to use them for a wide variety of products.
4. Click the Save Changes button

Clicking Save Changes adds the Image Type you created, but keeps you on the same page so you can add additional image types as desired. When you are finished adding Image Types, simply navigate away from the page
