Choosing and Setting Up a Payment Gateway
The Miva admin supports a number of payment gateways/modules so customers can pay for your merchandise on your website. Each payment gateway is configured independently.
Note
MivaPay is NOT a payment gateway. It works in concert with the payment gateways available in the Miva admin.
Most of the available payment gateways in Miva are considered "real-time payment gateways." Real-time gateways allow your customers to complete their transaction on your website, without needing to redirect to a third-party website to process the payment.
Real-time gateways support the authorization, capture, refunds and voids of transactions.
Caution
It is your choice to decide which payment gateway works best for your needs. Available gateways can be found in the MivaPay document.
To view the available gateways, navigate to Settings>Modules. In the Type drop down, select Payment.
Choose your desired gateway, and click install.
Once installed, if you are not already, go to Settings>Payment Settings and select the tab for the payment gateway you installed, to complete the configuration process.
